List of games that will be available in PlayStation 5 when the device is released

Sony announced the latest console price and time at last night’s Showcase, along with a series of games that will be released at the same time. PlayStation 5 will launch on November 12, 2020.

Only a few games have an official release date announced, the rest are expected to be released soon in 2021. Here are the games that will be released on the occasion of the PlayStation 5 opening.

GAMES SAME DAY WITH PLAYSTATION 5

DEMON’S SOULS

Bluepoint Games will remake FromSoftware’s original 2009 Darks Souls (Debut on PlayStation 3). As the origin game of the Souls series, Demon’s Soul is confirmed to release around the same time the PS5 goes on sale.

SPIDER-MAN: MILES MORALES

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be a standalone version similar to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The game will launch on November 12, 2020 for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

DEVIL GARMENT CRY 5 SPECIAL EDITION

PlayStation 5 will also update the Special Edition for Devil May Cry 5. The game will be available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox marketplace on November 12 (and Xbox Series X on November 10). Capcom says a physical box version will be available soon.

ASTRO’S PLAYROOM

Astro’s Playroom can basically be viewed as an introductory tour of the new DualSense console and controller. The game will be installed by default in PS5 and will obviously be playable as soon as the console comes out.

DESTRUCTION ALLSTARS

Destruction Allstars will be an opportunity for you to experience the new extreme lighting, fire and destruction effects that PlayStation 5 promises to bring. The game is slated to release on November 12 this year.

SACKBOY: A BIG ADVENTURE

Sackboy – A big adventure is the latest installment in the 12-year-old platform series. The game was announced in June and is set to release at the same time as PS5 for $59.99.

FORTNITE

Epic Games’ battle royale Fortnite will be available on PlayStation 5 when the console launches (still free). Players can continue using their current playing account to the new console without fear of data loss.

COMING SOON IN 2021

HOGWARTS LEGACY

WB Games and Avalanches Studios have finally announced the hugely-anticipated Harry Potter game that fans have been waiting for. Hogwards Legacy has not yet set a release date, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows PC. In the game, you will return to the famous story of the 1800s to study magic at this prestigious school.

FINAL FANTASY 16

Final Fantasy XVI marks the return of Final Fantasy after five years (if not counting FF7 Remake or FFXIV). This 16th part will still change the entire character system and world as usual in the Final Fantasy series. The game does not have an exact release date.

RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE

The 8th main installment of the Resident Evil: Village series will soon launch on Xbox Series X and Windows PC in 2021. Chris Redfield will return. Capcom said this game will focus on exploration and combat more than Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

DEATHLOOP

Deathloop is a unique game from Arkane Studios, scheduled to launch in the last quarter of 2020, but was delayed last month. The game is aiming to launch in the second quarter of next year.
