Levi went to America to join 100 Thieves Academy

In an unexpected move, Levi decided to go to America to join the Confederate army of 100 Thieves.

Superstar jungler Do “Levi” Duy Khanh will go to Los Angeles with the jungle position to join the academy army of 100 Thieves. This information is 100 Thieves revealed on Twitter today.

Regarded as one of the best League players in emerging regions, Levi shocked fans at the 2017 Mid-Season Invitational with his aggressive jungle style, combined with unique strategies. Levi’s style of play has helped GIGABYTE Marines win games against famous teams like TSM, Team WE and G2 Esports.

After winning a spot at the 2017 World Finals, Levi continues to impress fans and pros with his best style. GIGABYTE Marines’ victory over Fnatic, where Levi’s Nocture reached level 6 in just 5 minutes, went down in history as one of the best matches to take place at Worlds.

Along with Levi, 100 Thieves recruited top laner Maxwell “Kaizen” Waldo, mid laner Allen “Linsanity” Lin, AD carry Richard “Rikara” Samuel Oh, and support Ryan “Whyin” Karaszkiewicz.

While Kaizen and Lisanity have yet to participate in any tournaments other than the 2017 Scouting Grounds, both Rikara and Whyin competed in the 2017 Challenger Series in North America with Gold Coin United. Although Gold Coin United won both North American Challeneger Series tournaments that year, the team could not progress further into the NA LCS through promotion.

100 Thieves is the 6th North American organization in the LCS to enter the Academy League. Team Liquid, Clutch Gaming, and OpTic Gaming are currently the only organizations to announce the launch of their Academy teams.

Although the exact time and schedule have yet to be announced, the North American LCS Academy League season will kick off on January 18, with the first game going live on January 19.
