Let’s experience Battle Royale together in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with famous streamers

Keeping up with the trend now we have Battle Royale in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

For many years now, Activision has been very careful with its Call of Duty darling – they dare not do too much to change their success formula. But this year is a little different: Black Ops 4 not only ditched the traditional singleplayer mode, but the game also switched to a battle royale with a Blackout mode, which is currently in beta for the week.

The PC beta hasn’t started yet, but to better understand what CoD’s battle royale looks like, let’s take a look at some highlights from the PS4 release.

In every ‘traditional’ battle royale game, the player will start flying down from the sky, parachuting into the open world. Call of Duty is the same, but will use the wingsuit, giving the watchman precise, speed control and flying further to the drop location on the map. The basic shooting system looks similar to that of Call of Duty, fast, with the famous one-hit kill using the ax in Black Ops.

The maps in Call of Duty are always small, in contrast to the rival Battlefield, making it difficult for snipers, requiring a lot of quick-scope. In Blackout, players will have many opportunities to use the sniper rifle at the exact range that this gun was made.

One of the reasons Call of Duty is still so successful is because the developers of Activision are constantly making sure the in-game shooting system is smooth and accurate. The formula does not appear to be changed in Battle Royale. The game uses old weapons, firing mechanics, and the ragequit you know.

Basketball. Treyarch has some pretty cool stuff, not necessarily just for battle royale games. The basketball will quickly grab your attention and make you forget that you’re playing CoD and not the NBA.

Treyarch differentiates itself from Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty games with the presence of a Zombie mode. The mode adds strange weapons that have never been seen in the main campaigns of the game, including the strange gun above. We can see Black Ops not taking it too seriously in its Battle Royale. Adding silly guns is sure to create its own nuances.

The last Call of Duty game to feature such multiplayer vehicles was World at War (2008), which included tanks. In the game, we have helicopters, and everyone will have many opportunities to own the sky (for a short time).
