Ghost of Tsushimatitle adventure game open world of Sucker Punch Studios, was just released this past July 17. This game set in 13th century Japan immediately received high praise from game review sites and the gaming community. Just as Ghost of Tsushima is conquering players all over the world, a video of Prophecy – Sucker Punch Studios’ canceled title has been leaked.
Before Ghost of Tsushima, the studio’s latest game was also released in 2014, many people wondered what the studio had done all this time. It turns out that in addition to Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch Studios has also exploited a more magical setting for its adventure game, which is Prophecy.
Prophecy’s leaked gameplay demo video is more than 11 minutes long, throughout this video, players will follow the main character Abel Taboura wandering the narrow streets of the gloomy gray city. The video begins with an image of Abel trying to infiltrate an underground room, but this plan is interrupted by the guards. He made the guards burn his sword and then used alchemy to create effects to escape. The demo ends with Abel returning to fight the soldier who was pursuing him.
From the video, it can be seen that the game is set in the Middle Ages with complex sword fights. Many people think that the game has a lot of similarities with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series, although we will never know what the rest of it looks like.
