League of Legends has released a major update to mark the new season of 2021. And the popular game mode URF is also going to be revised in this 2021 version.

League of Legends: Interesting changes will appear in URF version 2021
Talking a bit about the URF mode of previous versions where players have fixed 80% of cooldown time and no mana cost when using the skill. This has created extremely impressive skill flushes, making each match dramatic and suffocating, but equally “for fun”. Back in 2021, Riot game revealed a few changes to make this mode even more balanced and engaging.
Cooldown changed to ability cooldown
Instead of 80% cooldown as before, the new URF version will give 300 skill cooldowns to champions, and it can be stacked with other cooldown reduction sources. With the skill cooldown mechanism that has been reworked in this new and cumulative version, players will be more comfortable creating gameplay than before.
The gem board will no longer be locked
Gem Deadly Paced and The Ultimate Hunter will no longer be locked in the new URF. This means that a champion can achieve a “huge” attack speed in the URF as well as the final cooldown will increase more than the old URF mode.
More balanced for mages using mana
If a player’s hero uses mana, the mana bonus from all sources will be converted to health at 40%. This makes the URF more balanced with the mana bonus that will not be wasted and the energy boosts to be ignored due to the use of the skill without consuming resources.
Locking items grants gold every 10 seconds
Items that increase gold every 10 seconds will be locked, in order to provide a better experience for new URF players.
