Just won Game of the Year, It Takes Two has been turned into a movie

It Takes Two had a great year.

Reformed and developed by Josef Fares and Hazelight Studios, the innovators and developers behind A Way Out, It Takes Two is one of those great looking titles built entirely on co-play op splits the display. In the game, gamers will be fine-tuning Cody and May – a young couple who are turned into dolls. With the help of a magic book called Dr. Hakim, the two need to work together to return to the global reality.

The two main characters in It Takes Two are Cody and May, a married couple who are planning to divorce. Cody always argues with May about how she works all day, doesn’t care about her family, May counters that Cody never supports her work or appreciates it. After telling Rose (their woman) that they were contemplating a divorce, Rose ran off to get the dolls she made herself, which looked quite similar to her parents, and brought them into the house. In the warehouse of the family home, Rose attempts to repair her parents’ relationship with the use of acting dolls.

A strange thing happened. Cody and May find themselves trapped inside each doll, caused by one of their women’s tears falling and accidentally hitting the dolls. In dire circumstances, Cody and May must work together to not only overcome their unique challenge but also repair their marriage. From here, an interesting journey has been opened and players will be influenced by the extremely strict and interesting transmission of the game.

With extremely strange gameplay and captivating happenings, It Takes Two quickly won the hearts of gamers around the globe when in the biggest event of the global gaming industry – The Game Awards 2021. launched in early December last year. It Takes Two was honored to win the category “game of the year – the best game of the year” that surprised everyone who took it.

Following that success, It Takes Two’s father, innovator and developer Hazelight Studios, teamed up with dj2 Entertainment to adapt the game into a television series. Pat Casey and Josh Miller, the writers behind Sonic the Hedgehog, were invited to produce the episode.
