Ron Ranbo Kim, former player CS:GO was one of the few people who were invited by Riot Games to test Project A. There, Kim and 9 other players (who are all masters in the shooting village) spent 5 days playing the game. The first three days are spent learning about the game and the characters while the other two days they will play competitively against each other as if they were participating in a real tournament.

In the long video that has just been posted on his personal Youtube channel, although he cannot reveal many details about the game, Kim said he was extremely impressed, felt really “extraordinary” and affirmed that Project A will be a great game. The new “phenomenon” of the line shooting game. In Kim’s words, Project A is “sharp, precise, and playable”. The shooting mechanism is extremely accurate, the game pacing is stable, neither fast nor too slow. Moreover, Riot Games is also actively developing “Peeker Advantage”, a feature that allows players to see everything around them at a glance, thereby being able to destroy enemies before they detect you. Worth mentioning, “Peeker Advantage” will only depend on line speed, not ping.

Although he didn’t confirm it, Kim implied that Project A’s gameplay is quite similar to Counter-Strike’s, just that the hero lineup will be inspired by League of Legends and each hero will have their own unique skills. It’s also quite understandable because according to Kim, one of the game developers is a former gamer and Counter-Strike map designer.

Finally, the good news that Kim revealed to the audience: the Open Beta version of Project A will be released soon within the next 6 months. Although there is nothing to confirm, it seems that Riot Games will not make fans wait too long.
