A sad ending for Magic: Legends, the game that was once thought to be a rival to Diablo IV.
After a hugely disappointing launch, the action RPG Magic: Legends will be shutting down forever on October 31, 2021. In an announcement posted on the game’s official Twitter account, the developer Producer Cryptic Studios says that the Magic: The Gathering RPG series will have to say goodbye to a game and that its development on Steam and consoles will also be cancelled.
To compensate players, the publisher announced that gamers who spent money on Magic: Legends transactions will receive a full refund, whether they paid through the Epic Games Store or the Arc launcher.

Publisher shared: “Sorry to say goodbye to the Magic: Legends project. However, we still have a lot to be proud of about our products. Thanks to this game, the Magic: The Gathering series is known and loved by more people.”
It is known that Magic: Legends is one of the games in the Magic: The Gathering series. This is a great, even unique combination between the two card game genres and the role-playing action.
Each character in Magic: Legends is a combination of 12 different cards. There are 8 cards with passive skills and 4 cards with active skills. With the combination of these 12 cards, you will build yourself a unique, unique character. In addition, when you change or add new cards, your character changes accordingly.
After more than 3 months of launching the official version, Magic: Legends had to close because the number of players dropped and the game encountered many unexpected errors. Hopefully in the future, the developer Cryptic Studios will learn more from the experience and launch more quality products.
