Just aired, the Resident Evil anime has been criticized

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is the series anime Adapted from the game series of the same name by Capcom. On July 8, Infinite Darkness officially aired exclusively on Netflixbut not only did not resonate, the film was also vehemently criticized by the audience.​

The film’s rating on Rotten Tomatoes is only 50% (from critics) and 56% (from audience), while IMDb is 6.5/10. One spectator commented:

On the major Chinese film review site Douban, there were 1919 viewers who participated in the rating of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness and the film also scored only 5/10. Many viewers and fans of Resident Evil expressed their disappointment with this anime series.
