JK Rowling is about to publish a new book, this time has nothing to do with Harry Potter

Yesterday on the official Twitter, world-famous author JK Rowling shared that she is writing a new book called “The Ickabog”. Unlike previous rumors, the female author confirmed that this is a completely new story and has nothing to do with the series. Harry Potter its best seller.

JK Rowling shared, she started writing The Ickabog more than 10 years ago, while continuing to write Harry Potter. The author originally wrote this book specifically for his children and these are also the first readers of The Ickabog. She originally planned to release this book right after Harry Potter ended in 2007 but in the end for some reason the manuscript of The Ickabog was put in a corner.​

A few weeks ago, the author suggested to her children that she wanted to publish this book and received a lot of support. The Ickabog will be a book fairy tales for children, most suitable for children from 7 to 9 years old. The Ickabog will be continuously updated and completely free online from now until July 10, so that children can enjoy exciting stories even during this worrying time.​

The first two chapters of the work were just released yesterday afternoon local time. The Ickabog will officially be published as a book in November this year.
