Is Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass Worth The Investment?

The first Apex Legends Battle Pass is out. Like other battle pass games, you will receive decorative items. Apex will have up to 100 tiers for players to unlock and receive unique items.

You can buy the Battle Pass for 950 Apex Coins. Those who reach the high tier of the Battle Pass will receive a total of 1,000 Apex Coins and get back what they invested. That means the Battle Pass is completely worth the investment from this perspective, since you don’t need to spend extra money if you finish the Battle Pass and continue to reinvest in the next season’s Battle Pass.

Are the Battle Pass features worth the investment?

The Battle Pass of Apex Legends 1 has too few items compared to games like Fortnite.

How much value do you get from the Battle Pass?

On Reddit, DarthSatoris shared how to calculate the value of the Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass using Apex Coins. They use two methods, one is to calculate the number of Apex Packs needed to unlock all the decorations and the other is to convert the value of each item into Apex Coins by converting the Crafting Metal prices of items of the same rarity.

Darth groups the Battle Pass gun skins by rarity. Since we haven’t confirmed their rarity yet, Darth relies on the color/shape of similar weapons to rank each item’s rarity, as Common and Legendary items will look very different. Darth then counts the items to convert them to Apex Coins using both the Apex Pack and Crafting Metal. He then adds them all up to the value of the Apex Pack you can get during the season and the value of the Legendary Havoc skin if it’s sold in the Shop.

Exchange them for the Apex Pack and players will receive 5,200 Apex Coins from the Season 1 Battle Pass. When exchanged for Crafting Metal, players will receive 7,790 Apex Coins.

If you could exchange Apex Coins for real money, you would spend $10 to get $40 in the first calculation and $70 in the second.
