Communication is the deciding factor in team games. But PUBG, Dota, CSGO, … and billions of other games don’t hear much about Skype or teamspeak anymore. Now, everywhere we see communication with each other using Discord. Room PUBG discrod is rampant.
To help everyone keep up with the trend, this article will help to understand what Discord is. Thereby knowing how to use discord to communicate ingame how.
What is Discord?
Briefly like this:
– Discord is for chatting. Typing (like we chat), or talking via voice (facetime, calling this video call …)
– This is nothing new. FB Skype even Alo Alo can also do. But Discord is more than that.
– Free Discord.
– Can be used on both computers and phones.
– Private server for a community group. For example, if you play PUBG, you can find more teammates, by joining the PUBG HCM community, your school’s PUBG community, or a class 12A8 community created by yourself.
Why use Discord instead of Skype or Teamspeaker?
In general, Discord is designed as a cozy room. The people who entered that room all shared a common purpose or interest. That helps them open up and connect with each other.
In terms of games alone, You don’t have to go to the net to fight for the computer to sit with your comrades. You can re-share pictures etc… the last game with your friends. You connect more with new friends in the same room.
In addition, Discord also protects privacy. You can turn off the Mic when you want. you also mute this person if you upset them.
Technically. Sound good or not depends a lot on people’s hardware. However, discord also tries to improve it as much as possible. Such as system noise, noise reduction, Boots Db etc…

However, once you understand the interface, ahhhhh…. So Discord is as simple and cool as that.
– The left side of the screen is where the most recent messages will be displayed. Of course the message comes from the server, which group you have joined.
– The left column displays both a list of friends and a list of servers and groups you join. Depends on which screen you are working on.
Below these lists are your usernames and profile pictures. Your status as Onl/Offline. Microphone, headphone are all displayed here.
– The center section will display the chat content.
– The right part, if you are joining a server, this will be the place to display members and their positions in the server. If you’re messaging one-to-one, you won’t see it :v.
