I thought the horror legend was about to return, who would have thought that the publisher would slap cold water

The beginning of the year has been an emotional time for fans of the horror game franchise Silent Hill. In January, a leaker tweeted that several new Silent Hill titles were in the works. And recently, there are many rumor about Sony want to buy the resources of Konamiincluding Metal Gear, Castlevania, and Silent Hill, as well as rumors that Kojima may be involved in the return of the Silent Hills project.

In an interview with PCGamesN in January, Konami’s response to the initial rumors was rather stereotypical: “While we can’t share anything at this point, we are listening to your feedback. customers and consider ways to deliver the next game.”

But more recent rumors about Sony and Kojima’s involvement have prompted Konami to give a more definite response. A representative for Konami said, “We are aware of all the rumors but can confirm that they are not true.” This is a fairly straightforward response from a publisher who is facing a lot of rumors. If Sony is really involved in the project, Silent Hill will have a chance to come to PC. Either way, it looks like there’s still a long way to go before this horror series returns.
