While players are eagerly awaiting news of the sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo suddenly announced again Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. This is a prequel set 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild. The game revolves around a conflict that sends Hyrule into a state of despair like what players saw in the hit game of 2017.
Over the weekend, Nintendo continued to tease by releasing a new trailer for the prequel game, introducing some of the faces that will be taking part in the battle in Age of Calamity. Players will easily encounter familiar characters that have appeared in Nintendo’s “legend” such as Link, Zelda or Champions.
Especially we will be seeing a young Impa. As is known, this character once appeared in Breath of the Wild, but now she is old. Step back in time 100 years ago, now Impa is young and healthy and at the peak of battle. She uses her unique abilities as a royal advisor and member of the Sheikah in her battle against the evil forces of Calamity Ganon.
Players pre-order the digital version of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will receive the Lucky Landle weapon as a reward. Players who save data from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch will receive the weapon is Training Sword. Both of these weapons will be released as paid after the game launches. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be released exclusively on Switch on November 20th.
