Companies can hire hackers to do this and then pay a fee based on the number of bugs and its severity. Immediately after receiving the error report of 2Eggss (specifically, the error has not been disclosed), Valve quickly fixed it and sent the amount of $9,750 as a gratitude gift to gamers.

20 days earlier, 2Eggss also found another bug and earned $1,500 from Valve.
