2. How to rotate an image in a Photoshop layer

To rotate an image in a Photoshop layer, follow the steps below:

First open the image that you want to rotate in Photoshop.

Next in the Layers Panel, select and click on any layer containing the image you want to rotate.

Make sure this layer is unlocked by clicking on the padlock icon as shown in the image below:

Press Ctrl + A (on Windows) or Command + A (on Mac) to select all. Or the other way is to access Select => All. Now the screen will show a blue border around your image as shown in the image below:

Access Edit => Transform => Flip Horizontal (or Flip Vertical).

Once done, your image will look like this:

Also to rotate the image 180◦ in Photoshop, you do the same 1-3 steps above, then access Edit =>Transform =>Rotate 180◦is accomplished.
