Minecraft There are many effects in survival and creative mode that you must have encountered at least once. So how? Remove effects in Minecraft Survival and Creative if you don’t like them?
The player can be affected by the effect when fighting monsters, mobs, using potions or special items. Besides the good effects like increased movement speed, you also encounter bad effects like poisoning, frostbite, or burning.
No one wants to suffer a bad influence in the game. So how to remove the effects in Minecraft to return to the normal state? Here is the answer for you.
How to remove effects in Minecraft Survival
In Survival mode (which doesn’t allow cheats), the only way to actively remove your status effects is to drink a bucket of milk. So if you’re planning to beat the Wither Skeletons to get the Wither Skull or Cave Spider, bring along a couple of buckets of milk. They are easily obtained by right clicking on a cow & bucket of milk.
Note, you will need to collect the Wither Skull to summon the Wither. It’s another boss to defeat after you kill the Ender Dragon. However, the Wither Skeleton has very little chance of leaving the Wither Skull behind. So start plowing this quest as soon as possible.
Additionally, resurrecting yourself with the Totem of Undying or exiting The End through its return portal also removes the current status effects from your character.
How to remove effects in Minecraft Creative
Once you’ve used the Minecraft cheat code, removing the effects in the game is really easy. You don’t even need any milk. Just open the game’s chat bar and use commands to disable any bad status effects on the character.
In the latest version 1.17 of Minecraft, here are the commands you need to use:
- “/effect clear
” will clear all status effects on the target. - “/effect clear @a” will remove the status from all players in the current Minecraft world.
For players on Bedrock Edition, the commands are a little different:
- “/effect
clear” removes the status effects on the selected player. If left blank, the player who executed the command will be the target of the command. - “/effect @a clear” will clear the effect on all players currently connected to the Minecraft world, alive or dead.
