How to invite friends to join Raid Battle in Pokemon Go

Step 1: Join a public or private Raid.

Step 2: Click the invite friends button on the right hand side of the screen.

Step 3: Invite up to 5 friends to join Raid. They can use Remote Raid pass or regular Raid pass.

Step 4: Wait for your friends to join that raid.

Step 5: Work together to win.

You should form a team of at least 7 people to participate in a 5 star Raid match. This is the most challenging battle in the game and contains many legendary Pokemon.
