Shin Chan’s real name is Sinnosuke Nohara, a 6-year-old boy who died while trying to save his little sister from a car accident. Unfortunately, the author Yoshito Usui passed away before finishing the series. In December 2009, Usui’s family announced that he had gone missing after Usui failed to return from a hiking trip near Gunma Prefecture. On September 19, 2009, a body with clothes matching the description in the Usui family report was found beneath a cliff at Mount Arafune in Gunma Prefecture. The body was confirmed to be Usui’s through dental records and the victim’s family the next day. His camera was restored and the final photo was taken from the cliff.
