Hearthstone Demon Hunter Class - Emergenceingame

Recently, Blizzard announced that the game will have Duplicate Protection applied to all rarity of cards. Previously, it only applied to Legendary. This is a welcome change because unlocking matching Legendary cards (you already own) is really one of the most annoying things about the game. However, the system is not perfect yet. Having to receive the 4th or 5th copy of an Epic, Rare, while you have not collected the other cards is also very annoying. This will be no more. Since you can no longer open ANY matching cards, the value of the card packs also increases significantly, because the number of cards to take away immediately disenchant is not as much as before. Like Legendary, you will receive a matching card when you have unlocked all of the cards in that set.

SURPRISE!

With the new system, it won’t cost you more than 30 packs to unlock all the Common cards in a set. Likewise, it will only cost an average of 60+ packs to unlock every Rare card in the set. This is a significant improvement.

Another thing about the system that a lot of gamers overlook is that the disenchant cards still count towards Duplicate Protection. That is, if you open the fake Legendary and decide to Dust it, you will NOT be able to open it again until you own all the Legendary in that set. Players are always afraid of the feeling of having just disenchanted cards they don’t need because you might have to get it again the next time you open it, instead of something more useful. With this system, you can Dust any cards you don’t want and won’t get them back and always unlock new cards.

Another big change is that new players who leave the game for too long will get a free, “competitive” deck of your choice. Of course, players will be able to choose the class they want! We don’t know what these decks actually are, but it will only consist of the Year of the Dragons cards (they won’t be useless for the next 3 weeks). New players will receive the deck after surpassing “new player ranks”, while old players have not logged into the game in the 4 months before March 17. (so if not playing for a long time. , but accidentally log into the game yesterday or today, don’t worry, you are still eligible). Both of these changes will go into effect on March 26, along with other updates like Hall of Fame, Priest rework, and more.

Moreover, the rank system will have better rewards. In addition to the random Rare/Epic packs, we will also receive packs from the latest expansion. Climbing higher ranks can be more valuable, as we can get 5 packs in total if we get Legend (applied monthly).

Overall, these changes should make Hearthstone a lot easier to breathe. Hopefully the game will become more user-friendly for new players so that the community continues to grow.

Note: You should keep the packs you have (from Brawl, Arena, etc.)! Please open them after the update has aired.
