Cory Barlog, who is responsible for producing God of War game on the PlayStation 4, has responded to fans’ questions on Twitter. He confirmed the third-person action game will not have a Season Pass. However, Barlog did not say anything more on the topic, the possibility that the game may have DLC for fans of God of War.
The possibility of God of War getting a Season Pass has never been high, but this news should reassure many fans. Sony has not yet applied the Season Pass for released games. However, PlayStation 4 exclusives such as Uncharted 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and MLB: The Show 17 employ other ways of releasing additional in-game content, including DLC or expansions for the game.
No season pass. As for the story questions – you will have to wait and play the game to see how it all shakes out. I just finished another play-through last night around midnight and it was still awesome! I’m totally biased, though.

God of War isn’t expected to have multiplayer, and it’s not an open-world game that benefits from skin DLC. If so, that could only happen with content released after the game has released. Story expansions with medium to large content make sense to have this DLC, with the exception of Horizon: Zero Dawn’s Frozen Wilds expansion. The previous versions of God of War never had any DLC or expansions.
This is not to say that Sony Santa Monica and Cory Barlog don’t have much to tell in God of War, Kratos related or not. Barlog said he was planning to do more stories, not just God of War version in 2018. God of War still has room for Sony to expand the plot, but it will not appear below. Season Pass format.
God of War is slated to release exclusively this spring on PlayStation 4. More information on the game’s release schedule will no doubt be announced over the next few weeks.
