Developers Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch recently revealed information about Legends, the game’s upcoming free update this fall. Legends will bring online co-op mode for up to four players.
The main content of the game remains single-player, but will be adding new maps and enemies – including Oni – inspired by Japanese folk tales and myths. Players will be able to choose one of four classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin or Assassin.
Sucker Punch did not reveal details about the classes, but did confirm that each class will have its own set of skills. The expansion also brings new quests of increasing difficulty, specially designed for teams of two to four players.
Survival missions will be updated. This type of quest requires the player to fight off waves of enemies with increasing difficulty, including the new Oni boss. Sucker Punch is also developing a raid mode for four players, which is expected to be released later Legends expansion. The raid is the most difficult challenge in the game, designed for players who have completed all of the story and survival missions.
