Genshin Impact developer gives Tet bonuses to employees in the right style of shooting… generals

Although this story sounds like a joke, Genshin Impact developer, miHoYo used a very unique way to reward their employees, which is spinning gacha.

Analyst Daniel Ahmad shared on Twitter images of a series of bonuses including PlayStation 5, RTX graphics cards, Nintendo Switch, iPhone 12″ and many other Apple products.

In order to properly promote the spirit of miHoYo, the developer decided to organize a gacha-style gift giving program for employees with a clear reward rate. Ahmad shared the drop rate for each gift, in which Apple products such as MacBook and Apple Watch are the rarest gifts with a win rate of 1%. However, this rate is still higher than the chance of a player turning out a 5-star character or weapon in Genshin Impact.

The most popular types of gifts are products like AirPods and AOC screens, with a win rate of up to 30%. According to Ahmad, miHoYo has prepared enough gifts for every employee, it all depends on each person’s luck. In addition, Ahmad also noted that the prize draw rate is only applied to the above program, the salaries and bonuses of employees are not affected.
