Gamescom: Devil May Cry 5 released a new trailer and will be available in March 2019

Capcom has just confirmed the Devil May Cry 5 release date at the Inside Xbox event at Gamescom 2018: the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 8, 2019. First introduced at Microsoft’s E3 2018 event, Devil May Cry 5 is the sequel to Devil May Cry 4, released in 2008. The new installment will feature three playable characters: Nero, Dante and another mysterious protagonist.

In DMC5’s E3 2018 trailer, fans got a glimpse of Nero’s new power. In the previous installment, Nero had another arm named Demon Bringers, but in the DMC 5 trailer, Necro got himself a new robotic arm named Devil Breakers. At Inside Xbox, Capcom briefly introduced Nero’s Devil Breakers, stating that Nero will have a total of 8 types, allowing him to deploy many different combos.

Since it was announced at E3, many fans have wondered why Capcom decided to skip a sequel to the DmC: Devil May Cry 2013 reboot. The publisher says pursuing DMC 5 doesn’t mean they’ve done it. skip the Ninja Theory studio sequel.
