Gamers flutter before the beautiful character Yuffie in the new DLC of Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be released on June 10, 2021, for PS5.

During the State of Play 2021 event that Sony held recently, many gamers had to admire the DLC release of one of the best PS4 games in 2020 – Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Part of that is the announcement that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be getting a free upgrade for the new console PS5 in an update called Intergrade. And especially the return of the youngest member of the Final Fantasy 7 team – that is, the beautiful girl Yuffie Kisaragi who captivated countless gamers in the State of Play 2021 event.

Introduced during the State of Play 2021 event, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade adds new story content to the original game. This version is for the PS5 with both technical and graphical improvements that gamers will especially look forward to. In addition, Intergrade adds a new part to the story of Final Fantasy 7 Remake with the character Yuffie, a character we don’t usually see in this remake.

For those unfamiliar, Yuffie Kisaragi is one of the youngest members of the Final Fantasy 7 team, she is both a ninja and a Materia hunter. Her hometown of Wutai was destroyed by Shinra, causing Yuffie to sympathize with the efforts of Cloud, Tifa and friends in destroying the dangerous Shinra corporation. In the original Final Fantasy 7, gamers will get to meet Yuffie in the later part of the game, but it seems Square Enix wanted to introduce the character earlier in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

In the posted trailer, Yuffie wears an adorable moogle cape, with a male character by her side, the two are now in Midgar and ready to go on their own adventures. In Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, players will be able to play as both Yuffie and Sonon as they develop their own plan to infiltrate Shinra to find a rare materia. Yuffie will most likely feature in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake sequel, and this add-on will let us know what she’s up to while the game’s part 1 plot unfolds.

The trailer also shows brief glimpses of Sonon, who looks quite different from the other members of the group. He wields some sort of large cane that is extremely useful when paired with Yuffie in combat. It is unknown if Sonon can be played individually, or if he can only be commanded by Yuffie in battle. The trailer only shows Yuffie as the playable protagonist, with Sonon always being shown in a supporting role. Furthermore, not much is known about Sonon’s character yet. He appears to be part of the Avalanche, but is unknown to Barret, Tifa, and the rest of the main party.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be released on June 10, 2021, for PS5. The YouTube trailer description doesn’t state whether this expansion will be available for PS4 players or if it will even be that this DLC is a paid one. It would be a particularly great move by Square Enix if they gave this DLC for free instead of being able to easily charge an extra $60 like a brand new title.
