Gamers clear the island of Skyrim within 72 minutes without dying

Those who have played The Elder Scrolls series will probably be familiar with spending dozens of hours on quests, wandering and exploring every corner of the game world. Therefore, it is understandable that many people’s surprise when a gamer named Jackson completed the one-time masterpiece Skyrim in a mere 72 minutes.

Accordingly, a gamer named Jackson Reynolds posted a video of him playing the game Skyrim for 1 hour 12 minutes, beating his previous record of 1 hour 14 minutes set ten months ago. In the video Jackson completes all of the main Skyrim missions extremely quickly and accurately.

Jackson did not use mods such as increasing character speed, penetrating walls or using any bugs to be able to destroy Skyrim island faster. Instead, Jackson calculates the path between missions, does not let the character die, does it as accurately and optimally as possible.

It is known that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth installment of The Elder Scrolls action role-playing game series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Skyrim was released on November 11, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Skyrim’s plot revolves around the player character’s journey to defeat Alduin, a dragon predicted to destroy the world. Occurring 200 years after Oblivion, the game is set in the fictional Skyrim region on the planet Nirn’s Tamriel continent. The Elder Scrolls series’ open-world gameplay continues to return in Skyrim; players can skip or delay the plot to explore freely. Skyrim was a commercial success with 7 million copies sold in its first week.
