At this E3 2018, Epic Games will be hosting a celebrity Fortnite tournament called Celebrity Por-Am that will feature famous faces as well as the best gamers in the Fortnite community. On the Fortnite homepage, Epic Games explains that 50 Fortnite pro gamers and 50 celebrities will come together to form a duo (2 people) to win a prize of 3 million USD in this charity event. Composer Marshmello will team up with Fortnite’s most popular streamer Ninja, TSM player Myth will be paired with NBA star Paul George; streamer Pokimane will be paired with rapper Desiigner, YouTuber Markiplier with host and actor Joel McHale; Team Vitality gamer Gotaga will be on the team with UFC fighter Demetrious Johnson. Tickets at the event are on sale for $10 and can be purchased via an email link sent to players in the Los Angeles area.

The Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am event is just a small part of the eSports plan.
