Following in the footsteps of Cyberpunk 2077, the horror blockbuster Dying Light 2 also announced the postponement of its release

After the success of Dying Light 2015, developer Techland planned a sequel to the series. Dying Light 2 officially introduced to players at E3 2018. According to writer Chris Avellone, this sequel will be an expansion based on the first-person parkour gameplay of the original, combined with an impressive story. It is expected that the game will be released right in the spring of this year, but recently Techland has announced, super product action game their open world will be off the release schedule for a while.

Techland CEO Pawal Marchewka shared on Dying Light’s Twitter:

Techland didn’t mention the title’s new release date in the announcement, with Marchewka saying they’ll share more details in the coming months. This studio also shared that it wants to make Dying Light a game for multiple console generations, currently the game is being developed for PS4, PC and Xbox One.​

January of this year was a sad time for gamers as news of game release date delays kept rolling out, starting with Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Marvel’s Avengers, followed by Cyberpunk 2077. of CD Projekt Red and now it’s Dying Light 2’s turn.​
