Review part 8
We continue to explore the past outstanding free games until September 10, 2018:
Joey Schutz’s Joanie
Some things you are asked for in the game require meticulousness. This is a pretty sweet adventure in the life of robot block humans. With Brendon Chung-style transitions, you’ll focus on slicing vegetables, cooking according to a given recipe, in your tiny kitchen. Joanies has two versions, a regular version and a VR version so you can explore the romantic world in the game. You can download the game here.
Malte Burup’s Cyborg Seppuku
This is a point-and-click game that requires you to find your wife. However, to find her, you must sacrifice your destiny. Your goal in the game is to remove the prosthetic parts of your body: true to the name of the game Cyborg Seppuku (Seppuku means Japanese suicide). You can download the game here.
What Goes Up by Mati Ernst, Itamar Ernst, Yotam Frid
What goes up, also goes down, right? Wrong. In the game What Goes Up, you can jump up, but cannot fall, at least with the special gravity in this game. This is a platofrm game that forces you to rely on ladders and hooks to overcome obstacles to reach the exit. This is a pretty good idea, developed into an attractive puzzle game. You can download the game here.
Sol Hemochroma by Aether Interactive
Sol Hemochroma is the latest game from the developers of Arc Symphony and Forgotten, two titles you should definitely play. This is a visual novel game about supernatural phenomena when they were young men. After learning everything, the horror plot of the game will gradually be revealed. You can download the game here.
Last Gleam by Securas, QuijiPixel
The world has ended, but there are still glimmers of hope in the distance, and that indicates the presence of other humans. To get there, you have to fly and push the crates, always keeping an eye on the health bar (HP) dropping, as well as the health bar. Zombies will get in your way to healing crates and you can use your pistol to finish off those monsters. Some of the deaths in the game are a little unfair in Last Gleam, but with countless checkpoints, this is a black and white game worth exploring. You can download the game here.
