Etched Memories: A horror game that invites players to play the role of a lost cat in the deep forest

Etched Memories is the brainchild of From Scratch Studios, a small game development team of 2 people. This is an indie horror game that can choose its own perspective with the main character being an amnesiac cat with a very cute name. Biscuit (Cookies). Currently, Etched Memories is still in development, but there is a free demo just released on Steam that will partly describe the great things that players will experience when the game is officially released.​

In the Steam description, Biscuit’s story begins when this gray cat wakes up in the middle of a stormy night and can’t find his mother, panicked and worried, Biscuit lonely rushes into the forest to find her mother in the heavy rain. seed. Along the way, Biscuit will uncover items and clues related to her lost memories as a lab-researched cat. Poor Biscuit was alone in a forest full of wild animals, both on land and in the water, always eager to eat him.

The trailer describes the player’s journey as Biscuit to find his beloved mother cat before it’s too late. This gray cat seems to be quite adept at exploring everything around. In the trailer, Biscuit rushes through the window, picks up clues, opens the door and controls a shark-shaped boat moving on the river.

Players can choose either first or third person, depending on preference. From Scratch Studios also says there is an optional feature that focuses solely on exploring the natural beauty that Etched Memories offers. In addition, there is an option for players to play faster, going through the story. The official version of Etched Memories is still being finalized and the manufacturer has promised to add a lot of special details hidden inside the maps that players have to search carefully to find.
