As promised, the latest Dota Underlords patch is available on Steam and Android devices, bringing a lot of changes. As for iOS users, the patch will be released after being approved by Apple.
The game will see many changes to heroes and Alliance, but one of the most important changes is the losing strategy that keeps getting nerfed.
Bonus gold when losing continuously with the item Silver Lining (1 gold bonus for losing 1 round) has been nerfed.
How to calculate win/loss circuit?
Gold when losing:
From:
3-4 losses – 1 gold
5-6 losses – 2 gold
Over 7 losses – 3 gold
Wall
3-4 losses – 1 gold
Over 5 turns – 2 gold
Gold when winning:
From:
3-4 wins – 1 gold
5-6 wins – 2 gold
Over 7 wins – 3 gold
Wall:
3-4 wins – 1 gold
5-6 wins – 2 gold
7 wins – 3 gold
8 wins – 4 gold
Winning circuit will reset at 8 wins
Silver Lining: Now it’s “Get 1 charge when you win 1 turn. When losing a turn, if the charge remains, gain 1 gold and lose 1 charge.”
In general, the strategy of losing continuously with Silver Lining is no longer as effective as before.
The leaderboard is out on July 4th. Interestingly, no one has reached the highest level yet, Big Boss 5. The ranking page will be updated every hour.

Change Hero and Alliance
Warlock and Shaman has been remade. Venomancer is buffed up, while Warlock changes to a DPS unit.
Venomancer:
- Health increased from [500, 1000, 2000] go up [550, 1100, 2200]
- Summon Plague Ward:
- Number of summons increased from 1 Ward [1, 2 ,4] Ward
- Ward is always Rank 1.
- Cast time from 0.5s to 0.13s.
- Cooldown increased from 5 to [5, 6, 7].
- 50% magic resistance wards.
Warlock:
- Shadow Word: Cast time reduced from 0.5s to 0.4s.
- Cooldown reduced from 20 seconds to 6 seconds.
- Damage from [100, 150, 200] go up [50, 100, 150].
- Heal from [75, 150, 200] go up [50, 125, 175].
- Duration from 6 seconds to 3 seconds.
Warlock Alliance changed to each time a Warlock casts a spell, they create a bond with their HP ally for at least 3 seconds. Every time a linked hero deals damage, both are restored [50, 100, 150]% of damage dealt.
Shaman Alliance now requires three pieces instead of two, but enemies affected by Hex, Silence or Stun take -200% mana when attacked.
Shaman Pluck, global items are also buffed. From 5% chance of “Shaman attackers being turned into chickens”, chance now increased to 17%.
New items
The new patch adds Force Staff and Scythe of Vyse, items that are extremely familiar to Dota 2 players. Also we have a brand new item, Big-Time Contract, which is exclusive to Underlords gameplay and affects Bloodhound Alliance.
Force Staff: Item Tier 3 – Push your opponent to 6 squares at random (10 second cooldown).
Scythe of Vyse: Item Tier 4 – When the equipped hero takes damage, hex the attacking unit for 4 seconds. (15 seconds cooldown).
Big-Time Contracts: Item Tier 2 – Blood-bound equipped troops.
