Beyond Epic: Europe & CIS has closed. The last day of competition saw two finals of the losing bracket and the grand final.
The opening match was a showdown between Team Secret and Team Liquid that met in the losing bracket. The winning team will advance to the grand final against Team Nigma. As the team that pushed Secret to the lower bracket, Liquid was expected to replicate that achievement, but unfortunately it did not happen. Game 1 ended in less than half an hour, with Liquid getting three lives. Game 2 was also not much smoother, Liquid lost 0-2 and had to give way to Secret to participate in another final.

The final match was as exciting as expected from fans: Divine Rapier, the team fight phases were long, the match was also long and tense. Secret has won five EU/CIS online tournaments with a 3-0 record, so everyone is hoping Nigma can put an end to this winning streak. However, despite leading 10,000 networth in game 1, Nigma was unable to take advantage of that advantage to push the high ground and as the game dragged on, Secret turned the game upside down and won. Match 2 was a showdown that lasted 75 minutes, before Zai’s Queen of Pain had an ultra-kill to claim Secret’s second victory.
There will be pain, there will be screaming.
An ultra kill from @zai_2002and after 70 minutes @teamsecret take Game 2!
Nigma put up a good fight, but can they turn things around? Game 3 is live soon!

Although Nigma did his best, nothing seemed to be able to stop Secret from winning the championship. Taking the lead with MATUMBAMAN’s Ursa with a late 20-2-11 record, he helped his team win a 3-0 final victory over his former team.
Secret now has its sixth online championship, all with a 3-0 victory in the final:
- WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1
- Gamers Without Borders 2020
- OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: Europe/CIS
- ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online: EU & CIS
- Blast Bounty Hunt
- Beyond Epic: EU & CIS
For Nigma, second place is proof that they are on the right track in finding their form. But now the question is: Is anyone strong enough to challenge Team Secret?
