Dota 2: Specter wins Arcana Vote in Battle Pass TI10

Battle Pass The International 10’s Arcane Vote winner has been revealed.

The next Arcana skin hero in Dota 2 will be Specter. This super carry beat Faceless Void in the last few votes with the votes respectively: 27,475,258 for Specter compared to 24,948,538 for Faceless Void, or 52.4% versus 47.6%.

Before that, these two purple heroes beat every other Dota 2 hero, with Doctor and Sniper being the two heroes who lost in the semifinals. There were quite a few surprises in the voting journey when Invoker was eliminated in the quarterfinals and Lion progressed quite far.

How does Arcana Specter look

The design of Arcana Specter is a hot topic in the Dota 2 community. Specter has a simple look with a flying outfit and a simple face. Valve can go for different looks for the hero, making the hero’s face look more human or sly.

Faceless Void fans should not be too disappointed because the past shows that this hero may be considered by Valve to add Arcana. Like last year’s runner-up Arcana Vote also received a quality skin after that.

TI6 runner-up is IO receiving the Benevolent Companion arcana as a reward in the TI7 Battle Pass, while TI9 runner-up Windranger does too. TI7 runner-up was Rubick winning the next Arcana Vote after a narrow loss to Pudge.

In addition, Void was also the runner-up in 2018 when he lost to Rubick.

When will Arcana Specter come out?

No exact information has been released about the Arcana Specter but it could take several months. Ogre Magi Flockheart’s Gamble and Rubick Magus Cyper came out in December after winning the Arcana Vote, which is about 4 months after winning the vote. Pudge Feast of Abscession takes longer and has to wait until April.

With Valve having a hard time keeping Dota 2 content up to date, it’s possible that Arcana Specter won’t launch until 2021 or later.
