Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen is officially a free agent and he could be looking for new opportunities ahead of the 2019-2020 DPC 2019-2020 Minor and Second Major qualifiers.

Misery has been a key member of Dota’s current Chaos roster since 2016. He led the TI6 roster to the finals, and then joined his teammate Aliwi “w33” Omar to South America, becoming a coach. Coach for PaiN Gaming. He also helps the players find new homes when things fall apart with the current organization. At the beginning of 2019, Chaos Esports changed regions when signing with the old paiN Gaming roster.

During the last DPC season, the team competed in South America, but right before the final Major, the organization bid farewell to two Brazilian members and returned to Europe. Chaos continued to change until the TI9 regional qualifiers, when the team completed the roster with Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen and Cheng “vtFaded” Jia. The team qualified for The International 2019, but was eliminated in the group stage. Chaos made no announcements after TI9, but several members left the team. vtFaded joins EHOME, MATUMBAMAN announces his retirement, and Maurice “KheZu” Gutman joins Godsent.

Now, Chaos officially dissolves the entire squad and thanks Misery for the past time.

“The impact Misery has had on the development of Chaos EC cannot be underestimated and we will always be grateful for his efforts,” Chaos Esports wrote on its website while the organization’s CEO Greg Laird further shared:

“Rasmus personally has contributed to the growth and development of Chaos’ Dota 2 program since joining (including the historic TI 2016 journey) more than any other player. Over the years I have become close friends with Rasmus and I am deeply saddened to see him go but wish him the best in his future career.”

With the squad disbanded, Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara also became a free agent.
