Dota 2: Battle Pass TI10 broke records after one day of launch

Once again, the Dota 2 community has shown its passion and loyalty to the game. The TI10 Battle Pass brought in $32.6 million in just 24 hours, increasing the TI10 prize pool at the time to $8.1 million.

This breaks the record for the highest 24-hour sales of any previous Battle Pass.

Every year, Dota 2 fans come together to help increase The International’s prize money by purchasing a battle pass. The community has always succeeded in making the tournament the most prized prize of the year. 25% of the revenue from the battle pass goes to The International’s prize money.

The International 2019 previously reached a record of $7.4 million just 24 hours after the launch of the Battle Pass TI9. Valve released some excellent skins in the last Battle Pass after the somewhat disappointing TI8.

Battle Pass TI10’s first 24 hour TI bonus is $733,227 more than TI9, largely thanks to fans eager to get their own Battle Pass content. Battle Pass TI10 adds dozens of in-game features, including Guilds, Battle Gauntlet, Sideshop and mini-games in the pause screen. The Battle Pass TI10 also brings five new awesome skins including two Persona heroes and three Arcana heroes. Those items are Pudge and Anti-Mage’s Persona, Queen of Pain’s Arcana, Wraithking and Windranger.

After the disappointing limited mode in the Battle Pass TI9, it looks like Valve decided to make a change this year. Although details are limited, the game will have a co-op mode for players to navigate through the “maze of challenges and horror”.

Battle Pass The Internaitonal 2020 costs $9.99. Fans can purchase the Battle Pass Level 100 Bundle for a promotional price of $44.99.

At the time of writing, the bonus for TI10 is $9,458,295.
