Doom is one of the bloodiest games with fast-paced action and ushers in the FPS game era. The latest installment in the series, DOOM Entertainment, was introduced at the recent E3 2018 event. And at QuakeCon 2018, publisher Bethesda showed us the gameplay of the DOOM Eternal part.
The demo starts in a narrow hallway, similar to the early stages in the 2016 reboot. The quick demo gives us our first look at hell on Earth. The development team has wonderfully combined the futuristic city with the hellish landscape that is ravaging the planet.
This part of the game has a faster tempo than before, with a moving system like swinging through pipes. The game also has a dash feature for players to rush straight into the group of demons. In addition, the game also has chains for players to pull themselves towards the opponent.
The video also shows off familiar weapons, like the twin-barreled shotgun, as well as new gear, like the automatic shotgun and a new energy weapon. The finishing phase of the opponent also reappeared, with the phases of “handling” and “finishing” the weak enemy. Each phase of “processing” is quite eye-catching, combined with top-notch sound effects.
The demo introduces some of the new enemies you’ll encounter in DOOM Eternal, including a “brain” and “spider” hybrid monster.
Players can also take on other players in the campaign mode, which allows other players to join the battle as demons. Gamers who control demons can work together to form hunting teams.
If this demo accurately describes what we will get when the game launches, players will surely have moments of stress relief. This song has a fast tempo with great music. Hopefully we will know more about the game before DOOM Eternal officially launches.
