Players will begin the story when the Backwood forces capture Team Vega 5 and Agent Noda, who are responsible for stopping the murder of colonists on Mars. Now, they are holding their hostages in the Hydra naval base, a fortress in the middle of the ocean protected by impenetrable artillery. As Warface dispatched the Sigma-3 unit to take control of the base, Blackwood summoned every rank of Hydra to stop and wipe them out.

After several story-focused updates featuring everything from space travel and colonies to robotic soldiers, the developers want to bring the basics back, new Warface missions with guns and enemies. Enemies are everywhere. Unlike other Special Operations, Operation Hydra is only for groups of 3, allowing for closer cooperation, incorporating more layers of tactics, and shorter wait times.

Through Operation Hydra, Blackwood will deploy up to 20 attacks including minions, robots and mini-bosses. The next wave of attacks will be more persistent and stronger than the previous one. You simply need to secure a terminal in the middle of the base, and fend off anything Blackwood sends your way before facing a powerful boss that awaits deep within Hydra.

As you wipe out enemies in raids and gain new combat achievements, you’ll accumulate resources that can be used to repair equipment, and buy new weapons and defenses such as launchers. grenades, defensive towers, laser beams and ballistic shields to help repel and attack Blackwood’s forces. Many special situations can occur throughout the base, including power outages, smoke or toxic gases, and denser enemy troops. You’ll have to adjust your strategies as you take action if you want to survive.

After every 10 attacks from enemies, you’ll start earning rewards like temporary and permanent Hydra weapons. If you hit 10,000 kills with a Hydra weapon, you’ll also get unique rewards.
