Located on the outskirts of Hamamatsu, a national municipality of Shizuoka Prefecture (Japan), Nukumori No Mori (meaning “warm forest”) is a small, beautiful and peaceful village like a fairyland. Designed by Japanese architect Shigeyoshi Sasaki, everything here exudes the breath of the movies Anime GhibliLegend of Zelda and Western fairy tales.

Coming here, you will feel as if you are a main character in the series anime Sometimes when walking on winding streets past houses and shops selling things like pottery, baked goods, jewelry,… Nukumori No Mori is nearly 3 and a half hours by car from Tokyo and is only open.
