League of Legends updated version 9.15 promises a surprise when champions with high combat power and damage are being buffed continuously to make the professional League of Legends meta become more exciting than ever.
Although Riot insists that it will not bring too many meta changes from now until the end of the year, the issue of balance and creating a good gaming experience for players is always a top priority. Patch 9.15 is like a small “care” for champions that haven’t changed much in a long time.
Compared to 9.14, version 9.15 does not have too many changes
In update 9.15, champions that are considered a bit too strong at the moment such as Rumble, Qiyana, Evelynn, Karma have been planned to reduce the champion’s strength a lot. Besides, version 9.15 also increases the relative strength for Assassin generals and active ADC champions like Vayne, Lucian.
Here is a list of champions “on the cutting board” in this new update:
GENERAL REDUCED
Rumble: Scrap Shield (W)
- Armor value reduced from 100/130/160/190/220 to 80/110/140/170/200.
Qiyana: Exploding World (R)
- Cooldown increased from 100 to 120/100/80s.
Evelyn: Thorns of Hatred (Q)
- Cooldown on lashing on a jungle monster reduced from 60% to 50%.
Karma: Spirit Armor with Mantra (R+E)
- Armor reduced from [30/90/150/210 (60% SMPT)] down [25/80/135/190 (+50% SMPT)].
POWER UP GENERAL
Galio: Giant Smash (Passive)
- Cooldown reduced from [5 giây mọi cấp] down [5 giây mọi cấp, chịu tác động bởi chỉ số giảm thời gian hồi chiêu].
- Damage increased from [15-180] go up [15-200].
Punch of Justice (E)
- Damage increased from 80/120/160/200/240 to 90/130/170/210/250.
Patch 9.15 – Riot reduced Galio’s cooldown and increased damage slightly
Graves: Quick Draw (E)
- Bonus armor increased from 5/7.5/10/12.5/15 to 8/11/14/17/20.
Graves is now much more resilient with massive armor
Now Graves will have a much better turret ability when the 8 armor plus per stack is huge at the beginning of the game, helping Graves to farm better and level up a lot better.
LeBlanc: Chain of Sin (E)
- E2 damage increased from 60/90/120/150/180 to 70/110/150/190/230.
Lissandra: CHEAP – Frozen Dungeon, AP interaction ratio increased from 65% to 70%
Base stats: Starting health increased from 518 to 550, bonus health per level increased from 87 to 90
Leesin: Sound Wave/Invisible Strike (Q)
- Q1 damage increased from 50/75/100/125/150 to 55/80/105/130/155.
- Q2 damage increased from 50/75/100/125/150 to 55/80/105/130/155.
Lucian: Purge (R)
- Damage per bullet increased from 20/35/50 to 20/40/60.
Now it’s hard for anyone to withstand Lucian’s shooting
Lucian’s midgame damage is already huge, but now with this new damage buff from Purge, very few champions can withstand Lucian’s continuous drying in the midgame.
Soraka: Still Tinh (Q)
- Damage increased from 60/95/130/165/200 to 75/110/145/180/215.
Swain: Hand of Death (Q)
- Range increased from 625 to 725.
After a huge buff in patch 9.14, Swain continues to be buffed as this champion can deal damage at a much safer distance, especially in top lane when most champions have range. about 600.
Syndra: Burst of Strength (R)
- Damage per orb increased from 90/135/180 to 90/140/190.
- Minimum damage increased from 270/405/540 to 270/420/570.
Vayne: Sentencing (E)
- Damage when enemy hits terrain increased from 100% bonus to 150% bonus.
Vayne’s early game damage trade has increased slightly
An insignificant buff because E is the ultimate ability that is maxed out and its effect is usually just to stun or push enemies that rush in. However, this increased damage allows Vayne to trade better in the early game.
Xerath: Ritual Magic (R)
- Range increased from 3200/4400/5600 to 5000 at all ranks.
Be careful with Xerath, he can fire his ultimate at you from a long distance
This is a hugely important change and could bring Xerath back to mid lane in patch 9.15. Basically, Xerath makes very little impact directly before level 11 and has 2 items because the champion is too mobile and the ability is completely directional and can be dodged quite simply. However, with 5000 range of using his ultimate right from level 6, Xerath can stand in the mid and unleash his ultimate all the way to red buffs, blue buffs, dragon caves and messengers’ caves.
Kha’zix: skill buff (Q) – Taste of Fear with damage increased from: 50/75/100/125/150 => 60/85/110/135/160
This is one of the moves that shows that Riot Games is starting to care about the once-strong champion and wants it to return to the professional arena more often.
Malphite: Meteor Shard (Q)
- Slow increased from 15/20/25/30/35% to 20/25/30/35/40%.
Dynamic Thunder (W)
- Bonus damage on first hit increased from 20/35/50/65/80 to 30/45/60/75/90.
Poppy: Unshakeable (W)
- Movement speed increased from 35% to 40%.
