Behaviour Interactive, the development team of the horror game Dead by Daylight, said they are developing a new multiplayer game. It will be a 5v1 first person shooter and will be called Deathgarden.
Not many details were given about the game, other than that it was described by Behaviour Interactive as, “Deathgarden is a brutal asymmetrical shooter. Powerful predators target agile runners, in this bloody sport.” In addition to the above information, the game will be available in 5v1. The developer has said they will announce more information at PAX East, which is happening next week.
As you can see from the trailer, there’s not much to talk about. You can hear someone screaming in the clip and some undergrowth, creating a horror atmosphere. There are two characters in the clip, a small man tied up and a guy holding a big gun. The tethered character can be one of the runners that the hunter has to chase. For a character with a large gun, whose armor resembles the Titan in the Destiny series, could be one of the hunters.
Dead by Daylight fans will want to keep an eye out for Deathgarden, as it looks just as intense as the studio’s horror title. We still don’t have a specific release date, nor a specific platform (other than the PC version) for Deathgarden, but it is possible that this information will be revealed when they officially announce the game at PAX East next week. Behaviour Interactive has been quite busy lately, as they just announced their plans to continue developing content for next year’s Dead by Daylight. The studio has drawn up a roadmap for the game’s Year 3 development, which includes new killers, maps, and characters. Players can expect new things to start showing up in the game Death by Daylight from this summer.
Deathgarden still doesn’t have an official release date, and PC is currently the only confirmed system.
