Death Stranding sets a PC release date, revealing many “super unique” features that PS4 does not have

The initial time when Death Stranding supposedly exclusive to PS4, many PC gamers were left disappointed. Fortunately, last October, Kojima Productions officially confirmed the game will have a PC version, dispelling exclusive rumors. And now, after months of waiting, the publisher 505 Games has finally set the exact release date for Death Stranding PC and revealed many details about this highly anticipated new version.

Specifically, Death Stranding will officially land on PC on June 2, 2020 via Steam, Epic Games Store and physical version. 3 months – a waiting period not too long to be able to touch the masterpiece of a talented game maker Hideo Kojima on PC. Moreover, this time the PC version is revealed to have “a bunch of interesting features and content” that the PS4 version does not have.

One of them can be mentioned is high frame rate support. Between 30-60fps is an acceptable frame rate for most games these days, but if you were allowed to customize, Death Stranding would probably be crazy when running at 120fps. In particular, Death Stranding for PC also adds some content and items inspired by Valve’s legendary FPS: Half-Life, such as the Headcrab hat for Sam or some gun skins for example.

In addition, if you pre-order now, players can receive a lot of gifts including HD wallpapers, Chiral Gold and Omnireflector hats, a pair of sunglasses for Sam, power skeletons, armor, and more. All PC gamers can also access options from the digital version of the artbook “The Art of Death Stranding” and the expanded version of the soundtrack anthology “Original Score” by Ludvig Forssell. Of course, these rewards may not be as exciting as the new features mentioned above but nonetheless it is the publisher’s intention for fans to wait patiently for the PC version.

Death Stranding is available now for PS4 and will arrive on PC on June 2, 2020.
