DC revealed the cartoon adaptation of the game, Superman personally murdered his wife and children?

Recently DC has revealed to the fans the project anime terrible is adapted from the famous fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. However, both Warner Brss. and DC have not made an official announcement about the movie but only revealed it through the press release of Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 2. ​

We don’t know much about this Injustice movie right now, but The Long Halloween, Part 2 is slated to release next July so it doesn’t look like Injustice won’t be able to air until the end of the year. How closely the film will follow the original game’s plot and whether the game’s voice actors will feature in the movie is still a mystery.

2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us and its 2017 sequel are both set in an alternate universe where Superman going crazy after being Joker Donkey killed his own wife Lois and unborn child. Five years after that tragedy, Superman rules the world by force and hysteria, forcing Justice League of the DCU, led by Batman, must travel across dimensions to fight him.​

There is much speculation surrounding the Injustice anime, it could add more details from the comics or even rewrite a whole new story set in DC universe this darkness and chaos. Hopefully DC will soon provide more information related to the plot as well as the cast of the film in the near future.
