Sprout announces they have signed former mousesports and HellRaisers member Tomáš “oskar” Šťastny.
The 28-year-old international joined the German team on a free transfer after his contract with HellRaisers came to an end.
He will replace Florian “syrsoN” Rische after the German sniper left Sprout with Nils “k1to” Gruhne at the end of 2019 to join the BIG team. In Sprout, oskar will reunite with Denis “denis” Howell and Timo “Spiidi” Richter, when they were playing for mousesports from 2016 to 2017.
oskar hopes the new challenge will rekindle his career after a difficult period at HellRaisers. In his second stint for HR, he didn’t win a title and didn’t replicate the form that helped him break into the world’s top 20 in 2017 and 2018.
After this announcement, Sprout has 4 members and plans to announce the last one in the coming days. The team will make their LAN debut for the first time of the year at DreamHack Open Leipzig, which will take place from January 24 to 26.
With this move, Sprout’s current roster is as follows:
Timo “Spiidi” Richter
Josef “faveN” Baumann
Denis “denis” Howell
Tomáš “oskar” astný
Nicholas “enkay J” Krumhorn (coach)
