Michal “OKOLICIOUZ” Glowaty has parted ways with Polish organization Virtus.pro. The 22-year-old player only played for two months in Virtus.pro’s squad before being dropped on the bench.
Virtus.pro will continue to test other players and it looks like they won’t be using OKOLICIOUZ again. During his time with Virtus.pro, he helped the team finish second at the ESL Polish Championship and finish in the top four at Moche XL Esports.

On Twitlonger, the Polish player talked about his time with the team and what his future will be like:
“In the end, it all didn’t work out. While the team made it to the top 32 with this roster (+60 in the HLTV rankings), something was not working. I think the problem is that most of the lineup is very proactive, myself included.
I have to say that everyone has been sharing from the beginning what kind of player they are looking for. The team needs players to play defensively to support the others/mainly nade throws, etc. I’m confident I can adapt to that role even though I’m an active player in the game. Because I know playing for VP has been my dream since becoming a pro, so why not give it a try?
…But after a while, we realized things weren’t going as planned. They need a more experienced support player in my position and I personally don’t think I want to take the role anymore. It feels like I’m trying to force myself in even though I don’t want to. Anyway, this is still a great experience.
I had the opportunity to face the best teams in the world at several tournaments like ECS, Europe Minor Closed Qualifiers and XL Moche in Portugal.
There is a lesson I have learned. That is to always say the positions you like to play and not to experiment with positions you have no experience with.”
Virtus.pro is still trying to find its heyday to bring Polish CSGO back to the world arena.
Virtus.pro’s current lineup is as follows:
Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski
Michał “snatchie” Rudzki
Michał “MICHU” Müller
Arek “Vegeta” Nawojski
Tomasz “phr” Wójcik (Stand-in)
Jakub “kuben” Gurczynski (coach)
