Immortals officially announced they have acquired the Made in Brazil brand, and the former SK members will be the players representing MIBR.
The announcement ends months of speculation about the Brazilian players’ future – with their SK contract expiring at the end of the month.
The FalleN Army changed organizations after just two years joining SK Gaming from Luminousity. During their time with the German organization, the team won many international tournaments, most notably the ESL One Cologne 2016 Major, and topped the world rankings for several consecutive months.

The lineup was announced at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo, as part of a relaunch of the popular MIBR brand.
Founded in 2003 by Paulo Velloso, father of Rafael “pred” Velloso, Made in Brazil was one of the most successful esports organizations of the early 2000s. “Brazil is very passionate about esports and this acquisition will allow us to grow more esrpots in the Brazilian market and throughout South America – an area that has not been talked about much yet,” said Immortals and MIBR CEO Noah Whinston.
“The MIBR brand is directly linked to Brazil’s national pride, sports and entertainment culture.
“We are keen to invest in the Brazilian esports scene and create a platform for professional esports talent in the region to continue to excel and rock esports.”
The Brazilian team under MIBR will make their first appearance at ESL One Cologne, which will take place from 3 to 8 July at Lanxess Arena.
Immortals also announced a partnership with popular social networking app Tinder, allowing premium users to receive special offers, including limited edition merchandise, the chance to meet teams around the world and participate Join exclusive VIP parties after big events.
“We know that many of our users around the world are passionate about gaming, and Tinder is excited to be the first summer dating app to enter esports with Immortals as a partner,” said Business Development Manager worldwide of Tinder, said Levi Nitzberg.
“Tinder’s global presence and active user engagement give us a unique, esports-like platform that brings together millions of people with similar interests.”
