100 Thieves officially announced they have recruited Renegades CSGO roster.
This is not the first time 100 Thieves have participated in Counter-Strike. Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag’s organization signed a Brazilian squad in 2017 after the team reached the finals of the PGL Krakow Major. However, this CSGO squad has never played a match in the color of 100 Thieves.
An important point that helped 100 Thieves recruit the Australian team was their willingness to play in Los Angeles. “We are currently in the process of building a 15,000 square foot esports center in the heart of LA,” explains Haag. “If you want to play for us, we want you to be with us and we want everyone to have the same vision and culture, all the same goals.”
The decision comes as the Australian team is on the upswing despite difficulties at the FACEIT Major London due to visa problems.
This roster finished 3rd at the StarLadder Major Berlin, and then went strong in Belek, Turkey in the StarSeries i-League Season 8 Finals (place 4).
The 100 Thieves CSGO roster is as follows:
- Aaron “AZR” Ward
- Justin “jks” Savage
- Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad
- Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas
- Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai
- Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović (coach)
