Crying and laughing when winning the CSGO tournament since 2018 but still have not received the bonus

Windigo Gaming from Bulgaria ranked 30th in the world CSGO in March 2019. But despite this, they took down the much higher ranked teams to win the game. WESG 2018 Finalsbeat the Polish team AGO in the match with a score of 2-1.

The prize for them is $500,000. And to this day, Windigo Haven’t received a dime yet.

Seven months after victory WESG, Windigo stopped working. It’s not for lack of player or can’t win tournaments simply because they didn’t get paid for the tournaments they won. Chief among them is the Finals WESG 2018.

Speaking to HTLV.org, Windigo co-founder Artur Yermolayev explained that the team is actually expecting that $500,000.

He said: “The players gained a lot of confidence after the tournament, they understood that they were playing at a different level. To keep the team, we had to raise the salary. We lacked cash flow and the main reason was the prizes. WESG, it’s the biggest award our organization has ever won. This will be the cash flow that will allow us to continue to exist.”

Maksym Bednarskyi, Windigo’s other co-founder, tells the full story in a post on CSGO subreddit. He explained that some other tournaments are yet to pay out, but WESG is the biggest prize pool.

According to WESG, they tried to send money but the money bounced back to the bank. The problem comes from trying to get a deposit when the team and the bank are registered in three different countries: Ukraine (where the organization is registered), Bulgaria (where the team practices) and China (where the bank is registered) team row is placed).

Complicating matters further were the protests in Hong Kong late last year, followed by epidemic corona has completely shut down China and much of the financial world.

A few months later, the founders of WESG and Windigo emailed back and forth with the latest developments promising a deposit in April thanks to a letter of commitment from Windigo’s founders. For now, Windigo still hopes they will be able to get it quickly bonus to divide it by the old teammates theirs.​
