Crossfire is about to be made into a movie, Sony and Tencent are co-producing

Movies adapted from games are no longer a strange thing to the audience, it also attracts attention from the original game’s community of players. According to the exclusive information of Variety, there will be one more series coming soon movie adapted from the game that was born, that is Cross fire. This page reveals Sony Pictures will cooperate with the Korean publisher Smilegate of Crossfire to produce a movie inspired by the game. Tencent Pictures will also be involved in the production and co-sponsor of the film.​

It is known that the screenwriter role of the film was entrusted to Chuck Hogan, he was the screenwriter of The Town and 13 Hours. Fast and Furious producer Neal H. Moritz will be the film’s executive producer. Moritz has a long-standing partnership with Sony Pictures with movies like 21 Jump Street and Bloodshot coming out this March.​
