Corsair reveals 6400 MHz DDR5 RAM, up to 128 GB per stick

Corsair has revealed information about their upcoming DDR5 RAM, and they will be clocked at 6400MHz, with a capacity of 128GB each.

The generation of DDR4 RAM has had a great life. However, after many years of existence and continuous improvement, this generation has reached its limit. Perhaps it’s almost time for us to “retire” DDR4 to embrace a more powerful RAM generation.

Recently, on their blog, Corsair has revealed some interesting information about their upcoming mass production DDR5 RAM kit. According to information from Corsair, this RAM kit will have a bandwidth of up to 51 GB / s (double DDR4) and more power saving, the capacity is up to 128GB / stick, which is up to 4 times more than DDR4 RAM.

Corsair has not yet said when they will release this RAM kit, but we can completely expect a whole new line of Dominator. More details are expected in the next few months. Anyway, Corsair still has to compete with other companies as one of the most famous RAM manufacturers in the world.

Elsewhere, while Corsair is talking about the DDR5 6400MHz RAM kit, a Chinese company has plans to produce DDR5 RAM with speeds up to 10000 MHz.
