Compare the price of PlayStation 5 with the price of old consoles, is PS5 more expensive?

PS5 has been announced by Sony, although we still do not know the official name of this system. Although the configuration of the PlayStation 5 has been somewhat shared, the price of the device is still unknown.

Peter Rubin, who did the first interview about the details of the PS5, has revealed more about the potential price of the machine. When Rubin asked Mark Cerny, head of PS4 system design, about the price, Cerny said that “PS5 will attract gamers with advanced features.”

Of course, this information doesn’t say anything about the price of the device, but industry experts predict the PS5 will range from $500 to $600. Given that the PS3 hasn’t sold well in the past due to being considered expensive, it’s possible that the PlayStation 5 will end up at $500.
